Background
Harald is a qualified counsellor with a Bachelor of Counselling (2017) from the Australian College of Applied Psychology (ACAP) and Diploma of Counselling (2012) from the Australian Institute of Professional Counsellors (AIPC). Harald is a member of the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA) and practices in accordance to the PACFA code of ethics.
In addition to working in private practice, and for over five years, Harald undertakes a role as mental health practitioner/program worker at an Adult Prevention and Recovery Centre (APARC). Furthermore, Harald facilitates mindfulness, meditation, and therapeutic groups both within the community and APARC context.
Harald has a varied history of practical experience and knowledge, including several years in hospital and rehabilitation settings. As a mindfulness practitioner for more than 20 years, Harald incorporates this experience into multi-modal therapy practice working with individual adults in relation to anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem, coping strategies, daily living skills and social integration skills surrounding mental health.
